In 1995 Lacey was awarded the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America
Individual Legion of Merit.  This was quite an honor because she was the
third pony in America to receive the highest goal set by the WPCSA.  An
Individual Legion of Merit is awarded to ponies earning 1500 points
(minimum of 500 each in breeding and performance divisions).  Lacey won
this award with the help of Angel Gillett (junior rider) and Hollis Hughes
